The RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2023 showcase and celebrate the best plans, people and projects. 

Now in its 46th year, our coveted awards recognise and highlight the positive contribution planning professionals make in the communities we serve around the world. 

This year’s winners will be announced at the national awards ceremony on Tuesday 21 November 2023 at The Fountain Room, London. Tickets will go on sale 9 October.

Winners in the Nations and Regions

This summer, we celebrated and recognised the planners and teams who have delivered such inspiring work this past year across the Nations and Regions.

The local winners* will be put forward for the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence national awards alongside the direct to national categories**. The national finalists will be announced on 9 October and the winners will be announced at the national awards ceremony in London on 21 November 2023.

*All Young Planner of the Year winners from the Nations and Regions will be entered into the national shortlist and will be judged by the national judges.
