This is the third of a series of online workshops designed to introduce Young Planners to the topics set out in the RTPI Inclusive Language guide. Across the sessions key topic matters will be discussed, including how to use the appropriate language in a range of situations and written work.
Participants will gain a greater depth of knowledge in equality, diversity and inclusivity and will have the opportunity to discuss what has been taught at the last session of the workshops (see below). CPD points will be given for attending a minimum of 4 out of the following 6 sessions:
- General principals of EDI- 28 October 2022
- Writing about Race and Ethnicity- 25 November 2022
- Writing about Gender- 13 January 2023
- Writing about disability- 17 February 2023
- Writing about sexual orientation- 17 March 2023
- Review of workshops -19 May 2023
Each session will last around 30-40 minutes.
