The North East Young Planners provides a platform for other newly qualified planners to share ideas, friendship and to network. This also helps to support their professional development. We are also delighted to have hosted the Young Planners’ Conference in 2019.
Who we are and what we do
- We’re a voluntary group run by newly qualified planners for the benefit of newly qualified planners
- We organise a wide variety of social and educational events - including seminars, talks, study tours, and a wide range of social events
- We host an annual L-APC session for professional development with the RTPI

You are welcome to attend Young Planner events if you are:
- An RTPI planning student
- A Licentiate Member
- A Corporate Member or non-member with no more than 10 years post-qualification experience
